ITIL® Intermediate Service Capability Modules

Program Overview: ITIL® is a set of best practices which can help organizations provide IT services to internal or external customers. The ITIL® Intermediate Service Capability modules consist of four individual certifications which focus on a series of processes including their activities, implementation and use throughout the ITIL® Service Lifecycle. The four certifications that make up the ITIL® Intermediate Service Capability modules are:

Operational Support and Analysis: includes Service Operation and Continual Service Improvement processes

Service Offerings and Agreements: includes Service Strategy and Design processes

Release, Control and Validation: includes Service Transition and Operation processes

Planning, Protection and Optimization: includes Service Design processes

All ITIL® Intermediate Service Capability exams are made up of 8 scenario-based, gradient multiple choice questions, with four options each graded according to their accuracy. Exam duration is 90 minutes, with a pass of 70%.

Target Audience: Individuals requiring specialized and detailed ITIL® process level knowledge; individuals working towards achievement of the ITIL® Expert Certificate in IT Service Management; individuals working towards achievement of the ITIL® Master Certificate in IT Service Management.
Prerequisites: Candidates for any of the four certifications in the Intermediate Service Capability modules must hold the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management or the equivalent ITIL® V2 Foundation plus Foundation Bridge Certificate, and must attend accredited training covering the relevant Intermediate Service Capability module.
