Program Overview: The Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification program follows the 2014 ISACA Candidate Information Guide developed by the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) for experienced professionals with work experience in information systems auditing, control or security. The CISA certification validates an individual’s IS audit, control and security skills . The CISA exam is offered annually, consisting of 200 multiple-choice questions that cover the six domains, or work areas, created from the most recent CISA job practice analysis.
Target Audience: The audience for this path is experienced IT Professionals seeking to validate their experience in information systems auditing, control or security by passing the associated certification exam.
Prerequisites: To earn the CISA designation, an applicant must have the specified professional information systems auditing, control or security work experience and pass the certification exam. Candidates are expected to have a minimum of five years experience. However up to three years can be waived provided the student conforms to a number of conditions as specified by ISACA.

Qualifying who meet the prerequisites students must pass the CISA Exam to attain a CISA credential.
